Introduction:
Ferrosilicon is coke,steel scurf,quartz(or silica)as row material,and made by using iron smelting furnace.
Application:
1. Because of silicon and oxygen easily synthetic SiO2,it aslo used as deoxidizer,when steel-making.The formation of SiO2 will give off a lot of heat,while deoxidizing,to improve the temperature of steel. 2. Ferrosilicon can also be used as an alloy elements additives ,widely used in low alloy steels,spring steels,bearing steels,heat-resistant steels and electrician silicon-steels.Ferrosilicon used as a reductant in production of ferroalloy and chemical industry.
Specification:
The ferrosilicon alloy is bright grey, and the density is small. The more silicon, the lower proportion. According to the content of the silicon, it can be divided into industrial ferrosilicon (Si > 97%, iron does not exceed 1.5 percent) ,and the ferrosilicon of different contents of silicon ,95%, 75%, 65% and 45%, etc
